Annual Yoga,Flow & Meditation Retreat 2019

We are very pleased to be able to offer the annual Yoga, Flow & Meditation Retreat in collaboration with our partner The Yoga Barn, who are based in Bulgaria.

 

Find total peace and escape to explore you inner world, mind body and spirit. Reboot with the ancient tools and techniques. Learn or deepen a breathwork and Yoga practise to take back home with you. 

This years retreat takes place between July 20th and 28th July, with 14 spaces available.

Here are 10 excellent reasons I've found personally for attending the retreat:

1. You'll take your yoga to the next level

Practicing yoga regularly can be challenging if you have a busy schedule. When you’re on retreat, you will have multiple classes daily, which will ensure progression and you will see positive effects more quickly.

2. You'll get a new perspective 

Going to a new place creates an opportunity to see the world, and yourself, in a new light. Experiencing the unknown is an accelerated way to grow and learn.

 

3. You'll *actually* meditate 

When you have extended free time, it’s a lot easier to meditate. No cell phone buzzing or boss reminding you about deadlines. On retreats, it feels a lot more natural to breathe deeply and be present in the moment.

One of my favorite things about a retreat is shutting off my technology. While we do have Wi-Fi in the village, you don’t feel the need to constantly tweet, text, update Facebook or call friends. It feels good to unplug.

Sometimes we have to be far from home to give ourselves the permission to truly relax. Being on retreat allows you to listen to your body, rest when you need it and be free from stress.

 

6. You'll eat well without having to do all the work

As the retreat is all-inclusive you will get three healthy, delicious meals each day. There is no need to find recipes, shop, prepare or clean up. Getting the nutrition you need has never been easier. All the work is done for you.

The best way to break a bad habit is to replace it with a new healthy one. Escaping your regular routine for a week, will mean you replace unhealthy habits with conscious new behaviours to support you in being your best self.

Often times the excuses are about money, time or circumstances but guess what, you deserve a break. On Saturday 27th July, we travel back to Sofia to spend the final evening in the beautiful capital city of Bulgaria. Note, this is not included in the cost and you will need to budget for travel and hotel. We can help with that if you prefer to stay with the group. Alternatively, please feel free to organise your own accommodation. ​

 

On Sunday 28th July we leave Sofia to fly home.

Getting there

 

Flights are available to Sofia from Heathrow (via British Airways) and Gatwick (via Easyjet). Please check for availability.

You can transfer direct to the retreat from the airport via a taxi for a reasonable price. Alternatively, we can help to arrange a train trip through outstanding scenery if you prefer.

Accommodation

 

There are options depending on availability for single and double rooms staying at the retreat.

Amenities

 

Make use of the facilities while at the retreat:

  • An indoor yoga studio

  • There are many charming spaces in which to practise around the compound

  • Relax in hammocks, lounging areas and the dip pool

  • Small, concise library

  • Wi-Fi 

Eating

 

There are three vegetarian based meals per day, which are included in the price. A sample menu is as follows:
